| Text of Note | Le présent ouvrage se propose de dresser un panorama des théories qui font l'actualité en sémantique. Celui-ci envisage tour à tour la sémantique cognitive, la sémantique interprétative et intégre les objections poststructuralistes à la sémantique lexicale. L'auteur effectue ainsi un parcours depuis les plus petites unités de sens, les sémes, jusqu'aux thémes qui traversent les textes. A ce titre, il ne néglige pas non plus les liens entre sémantique et littérature : de substantielles analyses de textes de F Kafka et de D Harms sont notamment ébauchées à propos du théme de l'absurde. Plus généralement, cet ouvrage renoue avec la philologie et élargit le champ d'action de la sémantique en sciences humaines. Enfin, ce manuel, destiné à tout étudiant désirant se familiariser avec cette jeune discipline, est en outre muni d'exercices corrigés qui sont autant d'applications reprenant les expérimentations produites par l'auteur. |
